While these projects are not active, collectively they give a glimpse into our origins and the Black Detroit stories that were being shared and preserved between 2015 - 2017.
2019 Youth Archival Fellowship
An inaugural youth program that trained a cohort of 5 Black Detroit high school-aged youth in preservation and storytelling skills and led them in the development of their own oral history project focused on a Black Detroit story of their choice.
2023 Women in Hip Hop
A program held in partnership with Queens Public Library to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip hop featured a panel and cyber event to honor Black women who have been trailblazers in the Detroit hip hop community.
