There is a resurgence of business synergy taking place in Downtown Detroit, bringing in a new attraction of revenue as well as the types of consumers. With Y.A.B. being an advocate for women of color stimulating the business economy, similarly to our kick-off Sister Sip event, we would like to use this event to be an inspirational resource to show that businesses opened by women of color are thriving as well as provide a networking opportunity for Detroit women! The food industry is on the rise in the business realm of Michigan and this event will showcase how women are utilizing recipes to revitalize the City of Detroit.
There will be a networking session and business card swap, social media photo booth, complimentary wine tasting, vendor tables from some of our Detroit Venture Partners, and panelists including:
Kirsten Ussery of Detroit Vegan Soul (featured in Huffington Post, Fox 2 Detroit, WDIV News, Detroit News, BLAC Detroit, Metro Times, MLive, Detroit Eater, Deadline Detroit, and 2012 Hatch Detroit Finalist)
Nailah Ellis of Ellis Island Tea (featured in Crain's Detroit, DBusiness Journal, Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, Michigan Chronicle, WXYZ, WWJ News Radio 950, the Meredith Vieira Show, and Crain's 20 in their 20's Finalist)

This event is also commemorating our 4 Year Anniversary of establishment! Since we have had 4 years of love and support from so many women, we would like to give back to you. There will also be a complimentary professional headshot booth so be sure to come prepared!
Get ready to Sip, Savor, and Support this Sisterhood of Entrepreneurs while celebrating our 4 year anniversary!
