Detroit SOUP together with Build Institute, the Detroit Entrepreneur Week Committee, & Build grad Peace Meal Kitchen bring you a special Detroit Entrepreneur Week SOUP dinner with a curated group of unique entrepreneurs who will be pitching in classic SOUP style.

At the event attendees will enjoy an Iranian style dinner provided by Peace Meal, share resources, enjoy good company, and vote on which entrepreneur they think would benefit the most. At the end of the evening we count ballots and the winner will go home with the money raised to carry out their entrepreneurial dreams. Build Institute
Build helps people turn their business ideas into reality by providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and support network in Detroit. To date, they have graduated over 770 aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs from their classes, many of whom have gone on to start successful businesses in the city. In addition to classes, they offer networking events, mentorship, connections to resources and a nurturing community that allows ideas to develop and flourish over time. Peace Meal Kitchen
Peace Meal Kitchen is low-profit organization dedicated to educating diners on regions that either misrepresented by the media in the United States or are in political turmoil with the US government. Their hope is to create awareness around the diverse range of cultures that exist within the Detroit community and initiate meaningful discussion regarding cultural misconceptions. In the spirit of their mission, the majority of profits from each event are donated to a non-profit dedicated to the betterment of citizens in the country of focus.
