Come and learn on an exciting tour of the fight for freedom in Detroit! 

If you didn't know, Black people were the leaders of the the abolitionist movement & the Underground Railroad in Detroit. In fact, the fight against slavery is what CREATED the Black community IN DETROIT! Please come out and learn about the people, the events, and the places that showed Black cooperative action, Black agency, and Black unity that created a Black community. 

This is a Walking & People Mover Tour. Please dress comfortably.

We meet at Campus Martius Park at 2pm next to the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument

Suggested Parking - Compuware Parking Lot ($10)
EZ Parking Lot (outside next to Campus Martius -$8)
Cadillac Square Parking Lot ($8-$10)
However, if you know of a free or less expensive parking spot, please choose it. Meters are good for 2 hours. 

Tour Price = $15 per person. Also, bring 1.50 for the People Mover
