On April 22nd - 23rd, 2016, come in solidarity to the first Detroit Just Transition People Movement Assembly at the Cass Corridor Commons sponsored by the East Michigan Environmental Action Council (EMEAC) and Global Grassroots Justice (GGJ) . The theme of our Just Transition Assembly in Detroit is building an intergenerational movement increasing capacity for community self-determination and de-siloing our movement. Detroit is a movement by the people, for the people, and of the people of Detroit.
This a free event. The event opens with a reception on Friday evening. Breakfast and lunch served on Saturday as well.
